1. Who we are
The data controller is LIPEDEMA LLC (ТОВ «ЛІПЕДЕМА», company code 45687449), 52–54 Vozdvyzhenska St, office 19, Kyiv 04071, Ukraine. Contact for data protection requests: inbox.lipedema@gmail.com.
We process personal data under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What we collect
- Contact details you enter in forms: name, phone, email, preferred contact method, message.
- Questionnaire answers about symptoms. This is health data, a special category of personal data; we process it only with your separate consent.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed.
- Referral data: advertising campaign, UTM parameters, click identifiers (gclid, fbclid).
3. Why we process it
To contact you, arrange a consultation and answer questions; to let a doctor review your questionnaire; to keep medical records as required by Ukrainian law if you become our patient; and, with your consent, to analyse website use and advertising performance.
4. Legal bases
Your consent; entering into and performing a contract for medical services; legal obligations; our legitimate interest in website security. Health data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent by medical professionals bound by medical confidentiality.
5. Who receives it
We never sell your data or share it with third parties for their own advertising. Service providers process it on our behalf only for the purposes above: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Kommo (lead management), an email delivery service, and — with your consent — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads and Meta. Some providers store data outside Ukraine and the EU; we choose providers that ensure adequate protection.
6. Retention
No longer than necessary for these purposes, or for the periods required for medical records. Enquiries that do not lead to a visit are deleted or anonymised within 3 years.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU, with your data protection authority. Email inbox.lipedema@gmail.com to exercise your rights.
